This is a longer description of our efforts to help lawyers
and how DepoForm™ is integrated into the Lawyer Trial Forms
(LawyerTrialForms.com) internet distribution part of the Bucklin Of
Counsel organization (Bucklin.org).
If instead of company information, you wanted to know more about
what deposition forms are available to aid and assist you, here at DepoForm™, go to
our
Product Line Catalog.
Lawyer Trial Forms, which has a trial notebook, deposition
checklists and various attorney litigation legal forms is the
umbrella site for Bucklin's publications. This site has the largest catalog listing of litigation systems and forms. Make your work easier in preparing for
depositions, settlement, and trials. The trademarked slogan of LawyerTrialForms™
is:
"Making Good Lawyers Better" ™
We believe that good litigation attorneys want to be efficient, and those
attorneys are the ones that come to the Lawyer Trial Forms site. Leonard Bucklin,
an experienced and noted trial attorney, was the creator of the eBooks or
individual legal forms available
on this web site.
The
trial notebook and the individual trial, litigation and deposition checklists,
advice packages, and legal forms --- the
entire product line --- all
bring you efficiency, but more than that. They all bring you a packaged advisor
and senior partner coach.
TrialNotebooks
focuses on the overall handling of litigation, from start to finish. A trial notebook is
not just for trials anymore! A trial notebook is a proven way to organize the
entire process of handling litigation. Discovery is easier and more
organized. Depositions run smoother and with less wasted time in preparation.
Settlement in alternative dispute forums have more order and hence more power.
Trial preparation takes less time because of the orderly preservation of
materials as the case progresses. The Trial
Notebooks site has the
information about trial notebooks, including checklists and forms and articles
contained in that litigation system. The theme of this site is described
by the vision statement:
"LitigationReady™
is a complete litigation notebook system,
organizing lawyers for every deposition, every settlement conference and every
aspect of trial."
The Litigation Ready system has a few basic deposition checklists, but
the e-book is a system for organizing your materials, not a book full of
materials. The purpose of the trial notebook system is
to win cases by being organized, and doing the organization in a time efficient
manner. The trial notebook system is the subject of the compact and
immediately delivered e-book sold at TrialNotebooks as Litigation Ready,
but it is also the subject of a
more extensive, traditional hard copy, book set, Building Trial Notebooks, which
is shipped with a loose leaf binder ready to use and lots of deposition outlives
and text advice. It is sold by
James Publishing, an independent
publisher.
LawyerLitigationForms™
is about the techniques which can be used in the adversarial settlement of lawsuits.
About 90% of cases in litigation are
settled cases by a process of negotiation. This site will become in the future the primary place for Bucklin
to sell settlement related forms, reports and checklists, including Settlement
Toolbox™. It is not yet active, but will be by the end of this calendar
year.
Corporate-Ethics.US™
is a corporate ethics round table group which provides experts (PhD and JD
quality) for corporate ethics seminars and training or culture-installation
projects. Their motto is
"Corporate-Ethics.US™ -
Distinguished experts delivering customized business ethics
education and projects to corporate America".
That motto explains the business
concept. It is a way of promoting solid real-world ethics that will help
the public by helping organizations. This group of PhD and JD experts may be the
single best source for finding
business ethics
experts who can comment from the perspective of being both an ethics scholar
and also a person with corporate business experience.
The over-all umbrella organization for all of
Bucklin's enterprises is
Bucklin
Of Counsel. (BOC). BOC is a legal malpractice expert witness and
ethics consulting firm. BOC is also the site for various journal (legal, business, history,
ethics) articles. It is the home site for Leonard Bucklin for his work as
a legal malpractice expert. Part of that work is constant observance of
how lawyers work. Bucklin's conclusion is that lawyers who are organized
and use systems are the ones who make money and make clients happy.
Neoethics is the ethics section
of e-Dicta, an internet ezine for the Trial, Torts, and Insurance Section of the
American Bar Association. Bucklin volunteers his time to be the editor and contribute
ethics articles both there and also at other sites. The American Bar Association
is an authorized user of the name "Neoethics", although Bucklin is the originator of the
capitalized word
Neoethics to mean a merging of professional ethics codes and the morals expected
to be used by persons in 21st century society in the United States. The mission of this ethics section is to promote legal ethics
and inspire attorneys to do more than demanded by the formal codes of ethics.
Bucklin, Klemin & McBride, P.C.
(BKMPC) is a regional law firm specializing in litigation.
The firm handles a wide variety of litigation for individuals, businesses,
other attorneys and insurance companies. Their core value developed by
Bucklin as the originator of the firm is "We take serious cases and we handle
them seriously." Martindale-Hubble Law Directory shows a list of
distinguished representative insurers and national self-insured clients, but the
firm also works for individuals, many of which are referred by solo
practitioners or small firms. The Bucklin, Klemin & McBride, P.C. law firm
attorneys premised that the large prairie areas of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana,
Wyoming, and Colorado needed excellent lawyers but separately the plains areas
of each of those states could not sustain a litigation firm able to devote the
appropriate resources to extensive or complicated litigation. Thus was born the idea of a regional law firm which
would service substantial litigation needs in those states, making itself known to small town
attorneys in the plains areas of ND, SD, MN, MT, WY and CO. Plains area
attorneys could refer their cases to the regional firm of Bucklin, Klemin and
McBride with the assurance that the client would remain the referring attorney's
client, but have the services of the regional law firm.
